The Taste of Calaveras is a fundraiser celebrating the wine, food, art and culture of Calaveras County. This popular event benefits the Calaveras County Arts Council’s Arts in Education Program as well as the Angels Camp Business Association. Each year the event is held at the magnificent Dove Hill Ranch on the outskirts of Angels Camp. Attendees can look forward to tasting delicious foods from a number of area restaurants and trying delightful wines from many local wineries. Additionally, guests can see art in action as local artists create new pieces right in front of their eyes. A car show, silent auction and live music add to the festivities. Look for this event near the beginning the Fall each year. For more information visit www.angelscampbusiness.com or call (209) 736-1333.
